Hair has always been a passion for me, I've been a beautician since the early 80s. I love the personal relationships and the ability to bring joy into the lives of my clients. From doing a child's first haircut to unique men's styles or the most complicated color and cuts for women. Owning my own salon has given me the freedom to further enjoy the more creative aspect of cosmetology. I love this industry!

When I started in this industry back in '97, creativity was my driving force. As time, growth and life experience started to take form, I had a rediscovery for my passions in the journey I was on. While the love for creative hair design remained my new driving force became the individuals themselves. I absolutely love people! I have met the most amazing people along this journey. I am thankful for the Avenue of Hair for creating the opportunity to meet people where they are and having the privilege of not just touching their hair but hopefully their hearts. I adopted a phrase sometime ago, "I just wrap the gift." People and relationships are such valuable gifts, and I am so honored to be interwoven into the lives of others.

I have always had a passion for helping woman look and feel their best. Having the ability to love what you do with passion, to touch and impact lives on a daily basis, and to be able to creatively express yourself makes our industry incredibly unique. I have been fortunate that for the past thirty eight years as a hairstylist, I have been able to enjoy a career as a hairstylist, colourist, platform artist, I have worked with photographers and fashion models and finally as a salon owner for twenty one years.

COSMETOLOGIST

My career as a hair stylist has spanned over 20 years. My passion for hair has taken me to London, New York, L.A., Miami, and Toronto. I am Vidal Sassoon, and Toni and Guy trained in the universal cutting and coloring techniques. Also, I have trained at Bumble and Bumble University in advanced hair cutting and coloring artistry. As an artist, I continue to challenge and update my art. In my spare time, I enjoy theater, guitar, cooking, traveling, family, community, volunteering, and have a deep love for reading. I feel that these activities contribute to my balance and well-roundedness.
